Background and Legal History of the Industrial Employees Co-Operative House Building Society Ltd.
The Industrial Employees Co-operative House Building Society Ltd, Bandlaguda, (hereinafter, ‘the Society’) was formed in the year 1980 and acquired vast extents of land in Tellapur, Ameenpur , Patancheru and Kollur Villages of Medak District.
This acquisition took place in or around the year 1982. Mutation was also carried out in the revenue records in favour of the Society. The Society sold the lands so acquired to its members as house sites between the years 1982 and 1985. Permission was also granted for conversion of the use of the Ameenpur ,Tellapur , Patancheru and kolluru lands from agricultural to non-agricultural in the year 1987.
In 2005 Proceedings of the District Collector, Medak has taken the Society and All the 4 layouts land into DRO custody under GO MS 1077. There after 2025 November election for the Society taken place under the giudence of DCO Sangareedy , and A new Body is formed to protect the land of the plot owners.
The plots of this approved 4 layouts were sold by the above society ,Consequently, the purchasers of the plots have become the absolute and rightful owners of the respective plots by virtue of their relevant registered sale deeds.
Formation of the New IECHB Society Body to Safeguard Plot Owners’ Rights
Considering the need to protect their rights from potential land grabbing, the plot owners formed the ABNTVP Purchasers Welfare Association in 2005. All the legal battles were taken place in the name ABNTVVPP association. However, after the Society elections taken place and new body is formed as the Association members will be backing up with the society and work towards to achieve the final goal . Consequently, based on the Department’s advisory directions to the District Registrars, the plot owners elected the new body to work under the society Norms.
The New Body is formed on 24th Nov 2025 and taken oath in front of DCO .
